Appointed Person Course [1 day]
- Demonstrate ability to provide first aid for minor injuries
- Administer first aid safely to a casualty who is choking
- Demonstrate ability to administer first aid involving wounding/bleeding/shock
- Demonstrate how to administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Demonstrate ability to administer first aid to an unconscious or conscious person
- Assess evaluate and respond to a first aid emergency
- Have an understanding of basic hygiene whilst administering first aid
- Have a clear understanding of the role of a first aider and the usage of available equipment and reporting and recording procedures
Paediatric Courses - Emergency First Aid for Children & Babies [1 day & 2 days]
- The aim of these courses is to provide people with a sound knowledge and understanding of First Aid procedures when working with children and babies
First Aid Refresher Course [2 days]
- This course will provide comprehensive revision of topics that were covered in the First Aid at Work 4 day course and will include any new first aid procedures which may have been introduced since completing this course
